At Cirque Noël 2026/27, we’re celebrating two reunions at the Orpheum Graz: The artists of Gravity & Other Myths, already well known to Graz audiences, present their latest work Canon around Christmas – marking their 8th (!) production in Graz. And in the new year, we can look forward to the moving Secrets by the award-winning Catalan Compañía De Circo „eia“.

Every year around the turn of the year, Cirque Noël Graz presents the most exciting and groundbreaking companies in contemporary circus. Together with La Strada, the festival has played a key role in establishing Graz as an internationally recognized hub for the New Circus—an art form with extraordinary expressive power and great potential for the future. This development has been made possible first and foremost by an enthusiastic and curious audience. The productions are not only presented in Graz but are also accompanied, supported, and co-produced from the very beginning of their creation. This allows us to present some of these works right at the start of their international tours. Gravity & Other Myths will be performing at Cirque Noël for the fifth time this winter and will celebrate the world premiere of their new piece, Canon, in Graz. Since 2017, the festival has been supporting these audience favorites from Adelaide on their journey, and together with our festival La Strada, several co-productions have already been realized and staged in Graz. In the new year, we look forward to welcoming the multi-award-winning Catalan Compañía de Circo „eia“ and their moving circus experience Secrets, created in co-production with Cirque Noël Graz. Compañía De Circo „eia“

For over 15 years, the Catalan Compañía de Circo „eia“ has been delighting audiences with expressive contemporary circus productions. Through its circus art, the company creates intense stage experiences—with humor and imaginative visual language—that place people and their relationships at the center.
The collective is internationally regarded as one of the most innovative and exciting voices in contemporary circus. The new show, Secrets, was created in co-production with Cirque Noël Graz.

For many years, contemporary circus has been one of the key focuses of the cultural festival La Strada Graz. From the very beginning, the passion, intensity and innovative power of contemporary circus productions have captivated local audiences. This encouraged us to dedicate an entire festival in the Styrian capital to this unique art form. In 2008, we launched Cirque Noël. Since then, the festival has been presenting the most innovative international productions and, together with La Strada, has established Graz as one of the hotspots of contemporary circus.
